Yvette Donosso, a graduate of J. Reuben Clark Law School, has dedicated 25 years to practicing law across state and federal courts in Utah, specializing in family and criminal law. Her career is marked by significant judicial clerkships, having served under esteemed judges such as Clark Waddoups and Magistrate Brooke C. Wells in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, Justice Christine Durham in the Utah Supreme Court, and Judges William Bohling, Lee Dever, Tyronne Medley, and William Thorne in the Third District Court. This experience has afforded her a deep understanding of the legal landscape, enriching her practice and expertise.

Yvette's professional journey extends through various sectors of the legal field, holding roles like the Bountiful City Prosecutor and Utah Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Division. Her private practice includes tenure at respected law firms like Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar, Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, and Trujillo Acosta Law. Notably, she also contributed to public service as the Executive Director of the Department of Community & Culture under Governor Jon M. Huntsman’s administration. Her commitment to community extends to her current position on the Board of Trustees for Salt Lake Community College and her involvement with organizations such as the Utah State Bar, the Utah Minority Bar Association, the Pete Suazo Business Center, and the Utah State History Board.

Throughout her career, Yvette has been recognized for her contributions and leadership, earning accolades like the Cesar Chavez Excellence Award, being named one of the "20 Most Influential Hispanics," by Connect Magazine in 2008, and receiving the Raymond Uno Award for Advancement of Minorities in the Law from the Utah State Bar in 2019.
